Auto Accident

$425,000 Recovered

In December 2021, we won a $425,000 settlement for our client for expenses incurred in an auto accident.  Our client crashed an auto into a house in Inkster, Michigan.  Their injuries included traumatic head injury (TBI) plus cervical and back injuries.  A shoulder injury required surgery as well.  Recovery and rehabilitation were lengthy challenges, requiring time off work and third-party in-home assistance.  These expenses were in addition to the high medical bills.  Complicating the case, the auto they were driving was not insured.  Michigan’s No-Fault Insurance requires filing claims with the Michigan Assigned Claims Plan, adding another complexity to the case.

Turnbull

Over 1 Million Recovered

Plaintiff was injured on St. Patrick’s Day in 2021.   She was at a stop light waiting for it to turn green when she was struck by a driver leaving a restaurant.  Her injuries included a Mild TBI, rotator cuff tears in both shoulders, low back radiculopathy, hip labral detachment and ligament tear in her left knee.  She undertook a lengthy recuperation period with extensive treatment.  Unfortunately, her injuries prevented her from returning to her prior employment as a HR executive for a large medical group with over 500 employes. We recovered limits from the other driver’s insurance ($50,000) and then pursued an Uninsured motorist claim ($725,000) and her PIP claim ($250,000) which both settled in January 2024.
